Samuel has broad experience in the assessment of national and multinational corporations (including, among others, social networks, search engines, e-commerce companies) on data privacy (i.e. international data transfers, cloud computing, providing client assistance on penalty proceedings at the Spanish Data Protection Agency, whistle-blowing schemes, cookies, monitoring employees’ use of corporate e-mail and IT equipment), e-commerce, e-signature, e-invoicing, IT agreements (i.e. outsourcing, software licensing, hardware acquisition), intellectual and industrial property matters (including litigation), as well as telecommunications and audiovisual regulatory issues.
Samuel also specialises in corporate and M&A for technological companies, e-contracting and consumer law, the assessment of regulatory matters for advertising and marketing companies, as well as online gambling.
Furthermore, he frequently participates as speaker and professor at different courses related to digital business at various institutions and universities and contributes many articles to newspapers and specialised magazines.
