Tom is a specialist media rights and e-commerce lawyer. He regularly advises on content exploitation, digital media, branding, e-commerce, ad-tech and sponsorship issues.
His current clients include Danone, EE, News UK and Specific Media. He also advised creative agency TH_NK on its contractual arrangements with JK Rowling’s business Pottermore on the design and build of the Pottermore website platform.
Tom has previous in-house experience working in the BBC’s media litigation team and also as Head of Television Broadcasting at Phonographic Performance Limited. He also currently sits on the DMA’s Social Media Council. Before becoming a lawyer Tom also worked for many years in the music industry.
